The Alpine Slide is a mini version of a bobsled run, except without the ice. Take a ski lift to the top of the slide, hop on a sled and zip down the mountain. The turns swing you up the sides of the track as you careen down the run. And, if you're afraid of hurtling down the hill at top speeds, you can use the hand brake to slow you down.

The Alpine Slide and Zip Line offered at the Park City Mountain Resort have become the favorite attractions for new comers and locals of the area. The PCMR communications managers, Michell Palmer, does an excellent job marketing this feature of the mountain. I'm told that the Zip-Line has almost become more requested than the long-time alpine slide. If you have yet to try the Z-Line come up and take a drive. It will be open year round.
