Editorial Review for Park City – by Peter Behle
Overview
The annual Sundance Film Festival is known internationally as one of the top events in independent filmmaking. It brings a slice of Hollywood to Utah. In the summer, the Park City Art Festival packs Main Street elbow-to-elbow. Summer months usually bring a temperate climate with clear, blue skies. In the winter, the greatest snow on earth lures skiers from all over the world.
The Experience
Skiing is the big draw, but the town is happening year-round. If fine dining is up your alley, stop at the Deer Valley Resort. Shopping is another highlight, from the quaint shops on Main Street to the outlet bargains near the freeway. Nightlife in Park City also is hopping--the zoning laws are different from Salt Lake City's, so bars and clubs are located all along Main Street.

Insider Tips
Save MoneyRooms are pricey, so shop around for a deal. Prices take a dip in the off-season, so consider a weekend trip in the summertime.

Park City is a fun place to get away when you do not want to really get away. It's a short, 45 minutes from SLCI airport. You can ski while the kids can go snowboarding.
Pros: location, snowboard friendly, resort size
Cons: price

Park City is fun, you feel like you are living like millionaires. Main Street is a fun walk, but it's the atmosphere itself that makes the city great. Go to Baja Cantina if you want good Mexican Food!
